If your towels develop an unpleasant odor or if you live in a humid area, you should wash your towels every three to four days. Colored towels should be washed at 40\u00b0C in the washing machine, while white towels should be washed separately at 60\u00b0C.

Wash towels separately from clothes for hygiene reasons. Towels tend to absorb colors from other garments, leave lint, and trap small clothing items, resulting in a less effective wash.

Use fabric softener sparingly<\/strong>
Use fabric softener according to the instructions on the label, but only every three or four washes. A buildup of fabric softener can make the texture of the towel stiffer over time and reduce its absorbency. If your towels have become stiff, add half a cup of baking soda to the wash cycle and one cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle.
