Frequently Asked Questions
How do we measure the curtains?
When calculating the total length of fabric needed to buy curtains, we must also factor in the fabric-to-rod ratio, which determines how full or sheer our curtains will be. Ratio of 1 to 2: If our curtain rod is, for example, 2 meters long, we need 4 meters of fabric. That is, 2×2=4. Ratio 1 to 2.5 When our curtain rod is, for example, 2 meters long, we need 5 meters of fabric. That is, 2×2.5=5. Ratio 1 to 3. When our curtain rod is, for example, 2 meters long, we need 6 meters of fabric. That is, 2×3=6. With a ratio of 1 to 3, the pleats of our curtain are denser compared to the other two.
How do I measure to order my curtains?
For the curtain rod:
If you have a curtain rod, measure the length from one end to the other, excluding the decorative finials. As for the height, measure from the bottom of the curtain rod to the floor.
For the railway:
If there is a window sill, measure the length from one end of the sill to the other, not the window itself. As for the height, measure from the bottom of the curtain rod to the floor.
If we don’t want the curtain to touch the floor, we subtract 3 centimeters from our total measurement. If we want the curtain to “skim” the floor, we subtract 1 centimeter from our total measurement. If you want the curtain to drag on the floor, add 10 centimeters to your total measurement.

How do I wash my towels so they stay soft?
Before Using Your Towels
A key step to preserving the quality of your towel for as long as possible is to soak it in tap water (without detergent or fabric softener) for 24 hours before the first wash.
Use detergent and vinegar
Wash your colored towels with similar colors in warm water for the first few washes. Use about half the recommended amount of detergent, and add 1/2 to 1 cup of white vinegar to the wash water. The vinegar helps preserve colors and removes detergent residue.
Wash Your Towels Often
If your towels develop an unpleasant odor or if you live in a humid area, you should wash your towels every three to four days. Colored towels should be washed at 40°C in the washing machine, while white towels should be washed separately at 60°C.
Wash towels separately
Wash towels separately from clothes for hygiene reasons. Towels tend to absorb colors from other garments, leave lint, and trap small clothing items, resulting in a less effective wash.
Use fabric softener sparingly
Use fabric softener according to the instructions on the label, but only every three or four washes. A buildup of fabric softener can make the texture of the towel stiffer over time and reduce its absorbency. If your towels have become stiff, add half a cup of baking soda to the wash cycle and one cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle.
Shake Out Your Towels When You Take Them Out of the Washer
Shake out your towels when you take them out of the washer. This will help break up any lint and keep them absorbent. Dry the towels thoroughly. Make sure they are dry when you remove them from the dryer. Even if they are slightly damp, they can quickly develop mold. However, avoid over-drying, as this can damage the cotton fibers.
Do not iron the towels.
Do not iron the towels, as this will reduce their absorbency. If you do want to iron them, do not set the iron to a temperature higher than 150°C.
